Networking Opportunities
A key reason to belong to the Chamber is to network with other businesses. The Networking Lunch is held on the third Tuesday of the month. Members are able to network with the other members seated at their table, as well as give a 10 second “pop-up” ad for their businesses to the entire room. At the Pastries with the President, new members are recognized and given their membership plaques, and group photos are taken for publication in our monthly e-newsletter. Businesses can extend their exposure by sponsoring a lunch. As a sponsor, you have the opportunity to pass out information about your business and to address the guests at the front of the room.
In addition, we offer informal Mixers where members can meet each other in warm and inviting social settings. There is no additional cost to host a Mixer however, as host it is appropriate to serve hors d’oeuvres and some type of beverage. Check the Chamber Calendar for upcoming events.
The Chamber also assists members with Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Opening and Re-Opening Ceremonies. These are all great ways to meet other members and showcase your business. Call the Chamber office to check availability and to schedule.
Member Communications & Advertising Opportunities
The Chamber communicates with members through its website (www.encinochamber.org), e-mails, flyers at events, a virtual newsletter, The Envoy and our annual Membership & Community Directory.
Members can purchase banner ads on the website, business card size ads in The Envoy, W.E.B. ads (Weekly E-mail Broadcasts), enhanced listings and ads in the Membership & Community Directory or purchase mailing labels of Chamber members. There is also a display rack in the Chamber’s lobby where members can place literature and business cards to promote their businesses.
The Encino Chamber also offers advertising opportunities in a Senior Services Of The San Fernando Valley Directory and dedicated website (www.seniorservicessfv.com). The printed directory has been distributed to over 5,000 seniors and their families to help them locate information on questions that arise when health and welfare are in a state of transition.
